The same plant, Dec. 1st, had 350 clusters of flowers on, which proves it one of the most persistent bloomers and does equally well Winter and Summer. Nothing so easily grown or gives as much satisfaction as Cyperus Plant. This is a plant of the easiest culture, and a large specimen is as hand- some as a Palm for decoration. It makes a handsome plant or can be used j^S in baskets or vases, making a charming effect. It will grow luxuriantly in water, and is, therefore indispensable for aquariums or fountains. arcy This violet is entirely hardy, a deep violet-purple color, and delicionsly fragrant. It surpasses the well-known "Marie Louise" Violet in richness of color, being many shades darker, and far excels it in its delightful color.
