Burundi, Muyinga Province, Twa or Batwa (pygmies) potters, their habitat is generally very poor like here straw huts, the pots (inkono) are modeled in clay by hand on a shard of old pot by the technique of coiling, after being smoothed, a drawing is printed using a stick or a braided cord being rolled on the surface of the pot, when the pots are dry after several days, they are briefly cooked in a fire of sticks and grass but the ashes of the cooking should appear on sale in order to prove that the pot was never used by the Twa because nobody would want it (4x5 reversal film reproduction)
