An English heritage blue plaque on Lombard St, London commemorating the location of the former Lloyds Coffee House between 1691 and 1785. Lombard St is the second location of the Lloyds Coffee House - the first was on Tower St between 1686 and 1691. The dealings that took place at this Coffee House led to the establishment of the Lloyd's of London insurance market. The site is now occupied by a branch of Sainsburys supermarket
