DIEGO (May 8, 2016)- Fire Controlman 2nd Class Dylan Bagdasarian says goodbye to his wife and daughter prior to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70) departing Naval Base San Diego for a scheduled deployment. Lake Erie is currently underway on an independent deployment to the 7th and 5th fleet areas of operation in support of maritime security operations and theater cooperation efforts.
