Montjuic Castle is an old military fortress located on the Montjuic mountain, in the city of Barcelona. The fortress was an installation of the Spanish Army, although it was later transferred to the city council, who currently manages it. Historically, the castle has played an important role in various episodes in the history of Barcelona.
