The Robinson tablet thereon commemorates this this church edifice the editor lectured on The PilgrimFathers and Their Story, in 1906. Quaintly attractive is the architecture of Olde Gains-borough, many of whose buildings edged the Trent. Withintheir rough stone walls lived and through lattice-pane anddormered window gazed the faithful.
