DIEGO) Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG105), along with USS Sterett (DDG 104), departed Naval Base San Diego for a scheduled deployment to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific Region, Feb. 6. Dewey and Sterett will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group deployment in order to advance Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
