Students of Sutherland Elementary School in Dinwiddie County, Va., clap and sing along during a March 28 Music in Our Schools performance featuring Fort Lee's 392nd Army Band. The program is part of an annual music-appreciation campaign started by the National Education Association. This year, the 392nd has roughly 40 events scheduled at elementary, middle and high schools throughout the Tri-Cities and Richmond area.
