As the first of four generations of continued service, 1st Sgt. Rocky Kampa, a World War II veteran who served more than 20 years on active duty, started a family legacy that continues to this day. The most recent member of the family to serve is Spc. Cory Lien Jr., who is currently deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, with the 452nd Combat Support Hospital.
