Wat Lokayasutha is one of the many ruined temples in the sacred city of Ayutthaya in Thailand. The city was sacked by the Burmese in 1767. Little remains of the Wat today. The most famous relic is the statue of a reclining Buddha, some 42 metres long and 8 metres high. The statue was restored in 1956.
