The historic 1882 infrastructure landmark of the Northern Pacific Railroad Bridge is now the BNSF Railway Bridge crossing over the Missouri River between Bismarck and Mandan, North Dakota. New steel spans replaced mostly iron spans in 1905. George Shattuck Morison designed and supervised the original 19th century construction of the bridge.
