Proboscis fully de\eloped; palpi iipdiriied, the 2ncl joint reaching to about middle of frons and moderately scaled, llie 3rd short; frons with large corneous prominence with raised edges; eyes large, round ; antenn;!; of female somewhat laminate and almost simple; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and with broad dorsal ridge of rough scales; tibiie moderately fringed with Jiair ; abdomen without crests. Fore wing with the a))ex round.'d, the termen evenly curved, crenulate, the inner margin with scale- tooth at middle; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; fi from upper anele ; \) from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole; 11 from cell.
