Visiting the Bureau of Engraving and Printing after lunch today, Mrs. Etta Johns tried the stickum of 500 stamps for dessert. The bureau is always on the lookout for ways to make their stamp stickum more tasteful, but so far they have only been successful with dextrine which they have to import from Java. Last year while turning out 14,009,511,597 stamps they used 600,000 pounds of dextrine
