Strandbar No 1, in the right mid-distance, is a beach bar, on the banks of the River Spree, across from Museum Island, in the middle of Berlin. The tall building on the left is the former private hospital of the Ida Simon Foundation (Ida Simon Stiftung), built 1909-1911 and connected to the neighbouring women's hospital of Berlin, left mid-distance. The hospital is now used by the Charity University Hospital. and has been designated a cultural and historic landmark. The building, right mid-distance, is the former residence of Berlin court officials, constructed 1911-1912. An early morning view.
