Picture by Roger Bamber 17 Sept 2000 Dr Jonathan Minns founder and director of the British Engineerium Hove sits within the eccentric movement of a huge mechanical sculptured water wheel made from 1713 seperate parts The thirteen and a half ton bronze wheel and base called Water Cycle was commissioned by Hong Kong Land PTE for Raffles Square in Singapore The kinetic sculpture designed by Dr Minns took two years to build.
