KINZIE My husband, J. A. Kinzie, and his brother,Charles Kinzie, had an exhibit last fall atthe Riverside County fair. This was thefirst time that either of them had exhibitedanything at a fair, but they received manycompliments and a special premium badgefor a good display. Eighty-two dollars in premiums were of-fered this year; and out of the fifteen en-tries J. A. Kinzie received six first and foursecond premiums, and Charles Kinzie re-ceived four firsts and six seconds. Thisthey were proud of, considering that twoother beekeepers had entries there who hadexhibited before. Another thing they were pleased with wasthe interest shown toward the bee industry by the visitors. The two men were busilyengaged nearly every moment explainingthings and answering questions. It was beneficial for the exhibitors aswell, for a number of well-known beekeep-ers d
