The Sió River is a tributary of the Segre River on its left bank. It has an approximate length of 80 kilometers. Its orientation runs from east to west and it drains a basin known as Ribera del Sió. Agramunt is a Spanish municipality in the Catalan region of Urgel, in the province of Lérida. According to 2019 data, its population was 5,371 inhabitants. It includes the nuclei of Almenara Alta, Mafet, Montclar, Puellas and La Donzell, the latter incorporated into the municipality in the 1960s.
