Venice, 3/29 Strada takes part in the anti-fascist demonstration against the ultra-right political group Forza Nuova. Gino Strada (b. Luigi Strada April 21, 1948 in Sesto San Giovanni, Province of Milan) is an Italian war surgeon and founder of the UN-recognized Italian NGO Emergency. Emergency has operated in thirteen war-torn countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Cambodia, and the Central African Republic. One thousand people met in Campo San Geremia to prevent a demonstration of the Forza Nuova fascist party. The founder of the medical association Emergency Gino Strada had a speech. Some old partisans attended too.
