Private Lubbe is photographed demonstrating the Lewis Machine Gun with a new attachment at Camp Hancock in Augusta, GA. The attachment allows for the gun to be fired from the shoulder with remarkable accuracy. Major Pierson and Major E. Fordyce, both from the Army, invented the attachment. Major Pierson is seen firing the improved gun. This photograph is not to be published and is for official use only.
