A BLOCK AND HAMMER MADE FROM BLITZED WOOD OF HMS VICTORY WAS PRESENTED BY THE WARDROOM OFFICERS OF HMS VICTORY TO THE WARDROOM OF HMCS NADEN, BASE DEPOT SHIP, AFTER THE CANADIAN SHIP HAD ASKED FOR A COPY OF ROYAL NAVAL BARRACKS PORTSMOUTH RULES AND REGULATIONS IN ORDER TO RUN THEIR ESTABLISHMENT ON THE SAME PRINCIPLES. - The presentation block and hammer which carries the inscription: "This block and hammer are made of oak taken from Nelson's VICTORY during repairs to her hull after the ship had been damaged by a German bomb in Ports
