Bubba, hunting along the snow covered banks in a marshy area of Bull River, on a 21ºF winter day, in Sanders County, Montana. Bubba is a mixed breed dog that was rescued from a no-kill shelter in Colorado, and now explores the mountains, rivers and streams of western Montana. Bull River is a tributary lake of the Clark Fork of the Columbia River. It is located north of Noxon, along Highway 56, in Sanders County, Montana.
