Lenticular clouds (altocumulus lenticularis) in a blue sky over trees. The clouds are drawn into this characteristically smooth shape by air streams forming standing waves of air on the lee sides of mountains. These clouds have formed over Sydney, Australia, due to wind flow over the mountains to the west. Photographed in the early afternoon in November.
