Cladoselache, Dean ; Cleveland Sluile(Upper Devonian or Lower Carboniferous). Sub-Class 4. ACANTHODII. Among the earliest knoAvn fossil Vertebrata are certain spinyfish, which are generally associated with the Elasmobranchii.
