In May, 1876, was ordained a minister of the New church(Swedenborgian) and became pastor of the Newchurch society in Mount Vernon, N. Y. He stillresides in Mount Vernon, but failing health has com-pelled him to relinquish his pastorate. He neveraccepted pay for his ministerial services.
