Indeed, there iseven a touch of the modern extravagance whichgoes beyond what many people consider rationallimits, for there is a portrait by Signor Manciniwhich has all his usual tricks and affectations, andperhaps rather less than his usual degree of clever-ness. But this is the only unexpected note in ashow that is otherwise quite in accordance withprecedent, and that will appeal as strongly
