Bell P-63 Kingcobra was a United States fighter aircraft developed in World War II
Bell P-63A Kingcobra: Similar in appearance to the P-39 Airacobra, with its "car-door" entry and mid-mounted engine, the P-63 was a larger, heavier aircraft. The Kingcobra also used an NACA-developed laminar flow airfoil. This P-63A flew at Langley for most of 1944 and 1945.
