Tliomas Brainard Taylor attended the public schoolsof Mifllinburg, receiving a practical education. From 1868 to 1872he was engaged in the mercantile business, firm of Taylor & Van Val-zah, after which he began the manufacture of buggies and carriages,continuing until 1910, when he retired from active business pursuits,and he is now enjoying the fruit of his labor.
