We believe this is the only fair way to conduct this branch of our businesi, in justice both to our large counter trade and to the many customers who annually send ui bulk orders to be shipped by express or freight. Both of these classes of our customers buy largely of seeds sold by quart and pint and as it would be impossible for us to deduct the amount of postage from each article (which we should be obliged to do to be fair and just) we therefore cannot in equity, quote prices to include postage.
