One bottom-truth must be learned by parents andacted upon, to wit: Perfect and most expensiveschools, and wisest and most honored teachers, cannotundo the evils imparted to children in homes wherethe corrective influences of justice and kindness aredisregarded, and where the fundamental laws of phys-ical health and mental growth are violated day byday. The School constitution is essentially different fromthe constitution of the Home. Therefore, the relationof teacher to pupil can never be identical with therelation subsisting between parent and child.
