Tubac, Arizona - Fr. Roy Bourgeois (black shirt) leads immigration reform activists as they march through the Border Patrol checkpoint on Interstate 19, about 25 miles north of the Mexican border, where motorists are asked about their citizenship. They were protesting the increasing militarization of the border, the separation of immigrant families, and policies that make it hard for refugees fleeing repression to enter the United States. Fr. Bourgeois is a founder of the human rights group, School of the Americas Watch.
