Asopia pictalis, Pyralis pictalis, Poplar Pyralis moth, with round rough-headed poppy, Papaver hybridum. Curtis (1791 –1862) was an entomologist, illustrator, engraver and publisher. "British Entomology" was published from 1824 to 1839, and comprised 770 illustrations of insects and the plants upon which they are found.
