Cancer cluster children
The town of Sierra Vista population about 40,000 has a cancer cluster of officially 12 children with leukemia and another 5 related cases. Here at the home of Dale and Kelly Durkit in Sierra Visa are playing his two daughters Kellie, 12 and Jessica, 6 both with acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML) Researchers are still testing for possible causes but two causes most mentioned are JP8 fuel exposure from local military base and tungsten exposure from old mines nearby.
