He located andhelped to settle North Ogden, where he resided until the time of his death,which occurred there Nov. 24, Campbell died, as he had lived,a faithful Latter-day Saint. CANNON, Sylvester Quayle, Pre-siding Bishop of the Church since1925, was born June 10, 1877, in SaltLake City, Utah, a son of GeorgeQuayle Cannon and Elizabeth Hoag-land. He was the youngest of eleven. children born to this couple. When aninfant he was taken by his parents toWashington, D. C, where his fatherwas in Congress as a delegate fromUtah. His childhood was spent on theCannon Farm southwest of Salt LakeCity, where he attended a privateschool maintained by his father. From1889 to 1892 he attended the Latter-day Saints College, and, having quali-fied in stenography, he accompaniedhis father as secretary on a trip to theEastern States and England.
