A late 19th century view of Dunstaffnage Castle, a partially ruined castle at the south-west entrance to Loch Etive, in Argyll and Bute, western Scotland. Surrounded on three sides by the sea the castle dates back to the 13th century, when it was built by the MacDougall lords of Lorn, and has been held since the 15th century by the Clan Campbell, but gradually decayed over the years.
