Jardin du Luxembourg
The Palais du Luxembourg is a chateau in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, surrounded by an original early 17th century Baroque parkland called the Jardin du Luxembourg. It first served as a residence for members of the royal family, became state property during the Revolution and has been the seat of the Senate, France's second parliamentary chamber, since 1800.
