Cripple Creek is a town all either uphill ordown—it depends upon which way you walk. Its principalstreet is an eye opener for Easterners who associate theword camp with everything wild and woolly. With finesubstantial brick blocks, excellent stores, trolley cars andelectric lighting, Criin^le Creek is indeed a surprise. Hutthe good impression ends with the se\eral central streets,.
