Track marker at the bottom of the NE ridge of Mt Zeil / Urlatherrke, West Macdonnell Ranges, Northern Territory.

Mt Zeil / Urlatherrke (1531m) is the Northern Territory's highest peak and one of the Australian Eight. The wilderness camp was established by the Connellan Family who owned neighbouring Narwietooma Station, to provide access to Mt Zeil from the north. The mountain is covered in sharp spinifex and crumbling rock and while a track leads to its base, the mountain itself is trackless and a challenging climb.
