Staff Sgt. Blake Dudek, transmissions chief with Marine Wing Communications Squadron (MWCS) 48, gives a brief to his junior Marines to prepare for a field training exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., June 18. From June 14 to 18, MWCS-48 Marines conducted a field exercise using organic, terrestrial and satellite communications capabilities to maintain contact with an aviation combat element, teaching and sustaining their proficiency in setting up and maintaining communication equipment.
