SPIRITUALISM, SPIRIT-WRITING AND MATERIALISATIONS - EGLINGTON Spirit writing obtained during a sÚance in the home of Dr. Nichols. The writing was obtained in ink, on a card which had been placed inside a weighted book (the Decameron of Boccacio): the sÚance was held in a well-lighted room. The text seems to relate to a translation from a passage in the Decameron. From John S. Farmer, Twixt Two Worlds. A Narrative of the Life and Work of William Eglington, 1886.
