Sunny overhead view of three red waxcap fungi near the the shade of a drystone wall to the side of the footpath over Nab Hill, north of Halifax, West Yorkshire. The waxcap fungus is likely Hygrocybe helobia, the caps,1 to centimetres across,being initially convex before becoming flat-topped and eventually developing a slight depression, seen here. The fungus is coloured red to reddish orange.
