Meixner, a bulk fuel specialist with Bulk Fuel Company, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, begins to pump ocean water through the Distributed Littoral Operational Fuel Transfer System, simulating the transfer of fuel during tactical bulk fuel operations abord the Ocean Valor on May 3, 2022. Demonstrations of both existing and new bulk liquid distribution systems were utilized to aid development of fuel distribution in contested littoral environments.
