Dog kennel inside the Lincoln Correctional Center. Inmates that behave, don't get any write-ups, can apply to be part of the dog program. The inmates train the dogs and the dogs all come from a local shelter. These dogs were at the end of the line and wold have been put down if the prison didn't step up. Once the inmate has trained the dog, it is put up for adoption again. Dogs that have been through this program are highly sought after.
