A Beltane clouty well situated above the N shore of Munlochy Bay, Black Isle. An ancient pagan well partly Christianized, but visits are still made on May Day morning, clouties tied to the trees & gifts left for the "wee folk". The spring on a wooded hillside emerges from a rock niche with a sloping lintel, forms a shallow pool & trickles down to the beach.
