Priego de Cordoba is a small town in Andalucia. At easter time many processions take place through the streets of the town, as they do in most towns and cities in Spain, but especially in Andalucia. This picture was taken on Good Friday, the day of the biggest, most popular processions, when monstrances bearing images of Jesus, Mary and several saints are carried through the crowded streets by eager participants and supported by costumed penitents.
