As College Park is surrounded by low,wooded hills and is not located on any large body of water, the velocity of the wind isnaturally low, and this is a most importantfeature. The international aviation meet for 1910will be held in America, and among thelarge cities which are contesting for it,Washington and Baltimore have suggestedit be held at College Park.
