A flintlock pistol, Johann Jakob Behr, Maastricht, circa 1720. Two-stage barrel with smooth bore in 16 mm calibre with brass front sight and engraved Italian pseudo-signature at the breech. Floral engraved flintlock with double set trigger and heavily rubbed signature " Behr". Carved walnut full stock (small restoration at ramrod thimble) with horn nose cap and brass furniture decorated in relief (rubbed in areas). Horn-tipped whalebone ramrod. Length cm.
