The 36 Express Lanes Project, completed in 2016, reconstructed the highway from Federal Blvd., in Westminister, CO, to Table Mesa Dr. in Boulder. The $497 million project created new "express lanes" where they did not previously exist, reconstructed two general-purpose lanes, rebuilt some bridges and created a commuter bikeway, The image was made from the the McCaslin Blvd. bridge near Superior and Louisville, CO.
