The River Laxford flowing under Laxford Bridge just upstream from Loch Laxford, near Scourie, Highlands, Sutherland, Scotland UK

The River Laxford is part of the Reay Forest Estate owned by the Duke of Westminster. It is a renowned salmon fishing river, and flows under Laxford Bridge just before entering the tidal waters of Loch Laxford. The old stone bridge, which has recently been renovated, carries all the north and south bound traffic on its single track width, as this road, the A838, is the only route in Northwest Sutherland to Durness and the North coast.
