John Davidson the shoemaker's former home in Kirkoswald, South Ayrshire, Scotland. This house is better known as Souter Johnnie's Cotage, named after a character from the Robert Burns poem Tam O'Shanter. Burns character "Souter Johnnie" was based on John Davidson a resident of Kirkoswald along with his friend and drinking buddy Douglas Graham, who Burns used as a base for the character Tam O'Shanter.
