The famous cenotaph of the julii, St Remy de provence, France.

The Roman ruin is called the Cenotaph of the Julii, dating from the 20s BC and is one of the best preserved buildings to be found anywhere in the Roman world. Glanum was destroyed by Franks in 270 and was never inhabited again. Close by this old Roman ruin is the psychiatric centre at the Monastery Saint-paul de Mauscole where Vincent van Gogh was treated 1889-1890.
